The 2022 Muscoda Morel Fest has taken on new life. This year's events will begin on Friday, May 13th, at 5 pm, and Saturday, May 14th starting at 9 am and will conclude with the fireworks show at dusk. The activities this year will be held entirely outdoors. The Muscoda Morel Fest offers family fun for children to adults. The festivities include bounce houses, arts and crafts fair, Bartels Chainsaw Carving Show, Kinschi Pedal Pulls, a presentation at Frank's Hill Effigy Mounds, and food for sale from local vendors., The Home-Grown Parade will start at 3pm featuring the Echoes of Camp Randall Band, and the famous Fireman's Steak feed will begin at 5 pm. The "morel" of the story is the trip to the Muscoda Morel Fest is a tradition that should not be missed. This spring adventure can't be put off, as morels are around for only a few weeks each year. Muscoda, Wisconsin's Morel Mushroom Capital, is located in the heart of the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway, following the graceful curves of the Wisconsin River.
