Become a “backyard astronomer” with help from the Northwest Suburban Astronomers. Observe deep sky objects through telescopes. Learn to use constellations and other “landmarks” to find space objects.

Meet at the Amphitheater at 8 to see the presentation "Our Milky Way" by Tom Auchter before walking out to the group camp to look at the night skies through provided telescopes. Reminder that no car headlights, no white light flashlights or phone flashlights are allowed at group camp to preserve night vision for all. Red lights are perfectly acceptable. No laser pointers please.
