A couple months ago I did a short on a group that gets together every weekend to go kayaking/canoeing on the Kickapoo river. While talking with the group, I learned that they were all members of the Kickapoo Valley Crochet Club.

He explained three main legal constraints; the Commerce clause, state pre-emption and Dillon's Rule and how all these make it almost impossible for communities to fight off corporate projects that affect their health and well-being.
With a beautiful start to the Memorial Day weekend, Saturday’s sunshine and warm temperatures found the Kickapoo river busy with canoe and kayak enthusiasts alike.
