All in Wisconsin American Legion
Many have served our country in the military, whether volunteering or having been drafted. When people join the military, all take a sacred oath giving themselves to the service of the country becoming GIs (Government Issue). Not to be cliché, all gave some, but some gave all.
This year’s Indigenous Peoples’ Day was recognized in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, and commemorated a bench, painting and interpretive panel, acknowledging the special relationship between the people of Reedsburg and the Hoocąk (Ho-Chunk) Nation.
Spring in the Driftless is a magical time. Birds return, green tree canopies begin to shroud the hills and valleys, and nature bursts with life.
